Statement for the Volunteer’s Registration

        Founded in March 1989, CFPA is a nationwide NGO specializing in poverty reduction. By taking it as its responsibility of establishing a platform for the rich and poor interaction, delivering love, promoting social harmonious development and with the sprits of making unremitted efforts, seeking truth and being practice, CFPA devotes itself in mobilizing general public, innovating poverty reduction methods, facilitating governmental policy in charity, promoting the development of civil society, realize social equation and common rich.

        At present, CFPA organizes and implements 2 poverty reduction projects: one is promotion projects including Interaction for Poverty Alleviation------to Jointly Build Harmonious Society by Going into Thousands of Villages, China Poverty Eradication Awards and Survey on Thousands of Villages and Millions of Households; the other is assistance projects including Microfinance, Maternal and Infant Health, New Great Wall, Disaster Relief, Project Angel and Integrated Projects. CFPA has mobilized the cash and materials donations from international and domestic organizations, institutions, enterprises and general public to help the vulnerable people.

        CFPA has become the largest-scale and strongest professional charitable organization in poverty reduction.

        CFPA has paid more importance on institutional building and organizational culture cultivation by advocating selfless volunteerism, emphasizing scientific and regular internal management, carrying forward hardship work spirit, implementing the open and transparent financial management, abiding by the principle of strict self-discipline and accepting the public supervision. CFPA enjoys high social reputation, growing accountability and the favorable policy on tax which exempts the income tax of donation to CFPA.

As a volunteer, you are hoped to be honest to treat the work, make full efforts to fulfill your task, voluntarily abide by CFPA’s management and safeguard CFPA’s honor and volunteer’s benefit. Meantime, you have the right to know about the CFPA’s operation and the process of related work, and make suggestions.

Long-term volunteer

Basic requirements of applicants for CFPA’s long-term volunteers:
1. above 18 years old, health, and no infective diseases;
2. be enthusiastic to charitable cause, hardworking and devotion;
3. have good character, no addiction, no illegal behaviors, active;
4. have the basic quality and condition to participate the voluntary projects or activities;
5. as a volunteer, he can stick to the service regulation, abide by CFPA’s rules and regulations and protect CFPA’s properties.
6. during the service period, the volunteer must safeguard CFPA’s benefits and the honor of a volunteer.
7. if a CFPA’s volunteer has improper behaviors, or innovates the laws or related regulations, or damages CFPA’s image, he will be dismissed or be punished by the laws;
8. have a diploma of college or above, have the ability of related foreign language.

Activity Volunteers Basic requirements of applicants for CFPA’s activity volunteers: 1. above 18 years old, health, and no infective diseases;
2. be enthusiastic to charitable cause, hardworking and devotion;
3. have good character, no addiction, no illegal behaviors, active;
4. have the basic quality and condition to participate the voluntary projects or activities;
5. as a volunteer, he can stick to the service regulation, abide by CFPA’s rules and regulations and protect CFPA’s properties.
6. during the service period, the volunteer must safeguard CFPA’s benefits and the honor of a volunteer.
7. if a CFPA’s volunteer has improper behaviors, or innovates the laws or related regulations, or damages CFPA’s image, he will be dismissed or be punished by the laws;
8. during the service period, the volunteer must abide by the CFPA’s work arrangement; if he has some suggestions or comments, he should report to the CFPA’s staff on duty; do not affect the voluntary services.
